Export packaging and logistics coordination — protecting cargo from facility to warehouse.

At Green Apple, we recognize that the quality of dehydrated vegetables is only as good as the packaging and logistics protecting them. Dehydrated onion, garlic and leek are highly hygroscopic and sensitive to environmental shifts. We therefore coordinate industrial packaging barriers designed to help protect the product from ambient conditions. Our packaging and loading coordination is designed to help protect dehydrated ingredients from moisture, external contamination, handling risks and cargo movement throughout storage and international transport. Green Apple coordinates export execution with partner facilities, logistics providers, shipping lines, customs representatives and relevant authorities according to shipment requirements.

Advanced industrial packaging

  • Multi-wall Kraft paper bags

Industrial-grade, multi-layer Kraft paper bags (3 to 4 plies) engineered for high tensile strength, enhanced puncture resistance and structural integrity under vertical stacking pressures.

  • Food-grade high-barrier poly-liners

Food-grade polyethylene (PE) liners are available to reduce moisture ingress and oxygen exposure, helping limit caking, clumping and aroma loss during storage and transport.

  • Standardized packing units

Standard net weight of 20 kg or 25 kg per bag, optimally sized for standard palletizing and manual or automated warehouse handling.

  • Jumbo big-bags

Ranging from 500 kg to 1000 kg capacities, equipped with top-filling and bottom-discharge spouts for automated factory hoppers.

  • Heavy-duty corrugated cartons

Featuring vacuum-sealed internal aluminium or co-extruded bags designed to support product preservation during storage.

Container load optimization & securing

  • Pre-loading container inspection

Containers are inspected prior to loading for cleanliness, dryness, visible structural condition, odour and suitability for the intended cargo.

  • Condensation control & desiccants

Container desiccants and suitable moisture-control measures may be used where required according to cargo, route and seasonal conditions, to help reduce the risk of “container rain”.

  • Palletized cargo

Heat-treated, ISPM 15 compliant wooden or plastic pallets, reinforced with heavy-duty stretch wrapping and edge protectors for safe forklift handling.

  • Loose cargo loading (floor loading)

Interlocking loading patterns to optimize container volume utilization, secured at the rear with cargo netting or strapping to help limit cargo movement during maritime transit.

International shipping & Incoterms

  • Full container loads (FCL)

Shipments are planned in 20ft and 40ft High Cube (HC) containers. Indicative loading weights vary according to product form, packaging type and operational limitations and are confirmed with each quotation.

  • FOB (Free on Board)

Handover at primary Egyptian departure ports — Alexandria, Damietta and Port Said.

  • CFR / CIF (Cost and Freight / Cost, Insurance and Freight)

Subject to destination, freight availability and commercial agreement, we coordinate ocean freight with international carriers according to route availability, transit requirements and customer preference — for example to Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Felixstowe or Le Havre.

Coordinated export documentation

Trade-document errors can delay customs clearance and create additional costs. Our export documentation team uses a dual-verification process designed to reduce errors and support the document requirements agreed for the shipment, which may include:

  1. 1 Ocean Bill of Lading (B/L) — clean on-board ocean bills of lading.
  2. 2 Commercial invoice & itemized packing list — mirroring exact weights, batch numbers and HS codes.
  3. 3 Certificate of origin — issued for the shipment; eligibility for any preferential tariff treatment depends on the applicable trade agreement and the importer's customs assessment.
  4. 4 Phytosanitary certificate — provided where legally required and applicable for the product and destination, issued by the competent Egyptian authority.
  5. 5 Technical Certificate of Analysis (COA) — issued according to the agreed product specification and testing requirements.
