Quality controls across sorting, dehydration, processing and packaging are applied by selected partner facilities and reviewed by Green Apple against the agreed specification and applicable destination-market requirements.
At Green Apple, quality and food safety are central to our global partnerships. Depending on the product and order, our quality coordination can extend from raw-material review through processing oversight at selected qualified and certified partner facilities. The final product is aligned with agreed customer specifications and applicable destination-market requirements.
Moisture and water-activity targets are set by product specification and monitored during processing at the selected partner facility to support product stability and sensory quality.
Optical sorting and cleaning technologies may be used to reduce colour defects and burnt particles and to support the agreed physical specification.
Calibrated metal-detection and foreign-matter controls are applied according to the selected facility process and agreed product specification.
Traceability records are coordinated from the agricultural source and selected partner facility through packing and shipment, according to the agreed order requirements.
Sampling, laboratory testing and Certificate of Analysis requirements are agreed for each order. Independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory analysis can be arranged according to the product specification, contract and destination market, covering:
Testing can cover Salmonella, E. coli, yeasts, moulds and Total Plate Count against the limits stated in the agreed specification.
Testing can be arranged against applicable destination-market limits, including European Union Maximum Residue Limits (EU MRLs) where required.
Certifications
Products are processed through selected partner facilities whose relevant certification scope and current documentation are confirmed for each order:
